The hard thing about getting numerous requests to enter a different tournament, is often I have to say yes to everyone or no to everyone. Space can get tight (I have put things in storage so I can be flexible with requests).
After Friday’s tournament (March 14, 2014), and for the rest of the semester, please expect me not to switch players from Saturday to Friday.
It has always been the official policy that players play in the tournament day that they registered for.
The following is from the Registration Form:
Tournament Substitutions For Members: We do not offer refunds, credits or make-ups for missed events. Sometimes we may offer a substitution, or switching tournaments within that week. For example, if your child has a Friday Membership, but has a school function on Friday January 10, he or she may be able to play in our Saturday tournament scheduled for January 11 instead. If you are interested in substituting dates, you must give us advanced notice via email. We often can’t accommodate requests for changing days.

In summary: I am just getting too many requests for switches from Saturday to Friday and I can't grant them all. The Friday tournament is just too crowded, and I wish to do the rules consistently and fairly for all.
